King of Shaves Azor Razor and Alphagel
« on: August 10, 2012, 10:30:48 AM »
I heard people giving praise to the King oF Shaves Azor Razor and Alphagel.  Tried it for the first time this morning.

The Azor's a good razor (sold at Walgreen's here in Plainfield, NJ).  Takes a bit of learning, however once you get the knack of it, it does the job well.  The Alphagel works good too, and unlike Shave Secret (my other fave) it does not gunk up the razor.

The Azor w/2 replacement blades sells for about $10; the Alphagel (5 fl oz) sells for about $6.00.  I do plan to keep my Shave Secret as a backup and for post-shave moisturizing.

I've been using my Azor for a few years now with Alphagel and it works for me.

They do a Shave Serum in a small pump dispenser which is a handy size for camping.  Unfortunately I found it to be a bit oily and it gunks up my razor.
