Looks great, I'm trying to resist trimming as I did last time. First trim was fine but then two weeks I ended up feeling it needed trimming again. Second time I trimmed they took too much off the sides and it looked misshapen

Resisting the urge to trim is not easy.  Hang in there; it looks great.

I cut the sideburns too low and I ended up shortening the width. I had it wider but I just trimmed the rest of it down to give the inside of the cheeks a chance to catch up.

Thanks!  I'm about 30 days into a full beard to my eyeglass level.  I trimmed the ponytail down to get everything matching, but currently I'm about 60 days away from it being back to that length.  BTW the tears in my eye's were from attempting to smile
