Any of those would look great....but if you decide to keep it longer, you could roll it up to give a shorter effect...By you keeping the sides neatly trimmed, whatever length you keep under the chin would look good, IMO.

Man! I am inspired! I gotta get this thing happening. This is the most I've ever grown it
But I'm back to square one right now.
This pic is from this morning (today my boy had 1st day of prep & my girl, 1st day of daycare)

Slybeard,
I like your beard in all the photos and I especially like the mustache. In my opinion, I like the shorter beard slightly better with the focus on your face and not your beard, with the beard complimenting the face.
Which do you really prefer? I recently grew my beard and had fun doing it. My son and all his friends urged me to keep going. While I liked it, I personally prefer my goatee and I think I look best when it is short. So that's what I have going on right now. But I did enjoy the process of growing out the beard and not shaving my face, so I know sooner or later, I'll do that again for a while.

Looks good, Raulski! Mike E.P., I thought you had a pretty good one going there too, but it's what the wearer feels more comfortable with.

I don't really have a preference. I like to change fairly regularly. When I had hair I did many wild & wonderful things with it. Now I've settled on my present "style", I'm having fun with the face. I'd really like to grow it long like Beardman but I always get the urge to do something different before it gets there. But I like clean, mo, goatee, chops, full, patterns, you name it

Raulski, that is where I am at with my beard. I like to change it around some and try different styles. I was never bold enough to do that with my head hair and always kept the same hairstyle. Now I like to change things up with the beard. BTW - yours looked great in that photo longer as well as the one with the kids.
I do like having a "longer that normal" beard, and will likely trim back some, just not sure how much. Thanks for all the comments.

Bored at home due to the super cold weather, so I took some "beard selfies" today:

Sir Harry, good photos. I always have poor results with selfies. Glad you are sticking with your beard, it looks good on you.
Geeman, that is a great beard for three weeks. You could grow an awesome epic beard in short order.
