Looking good, everyone! Keep up the great work!Sorry to hear about the unemployment, slymyke. You'll bounce back in no time (as will your excellent beard), brother! As for myself, here is an updated picture (my avatar picture was taken back in early April). As you can see, I'm going full force again. The last time I tried growing it out, I kept getting the urge to trim after a few months. The urge went well past the 48 hour rule, so I did. I now firmly believe that the ongoing need to trim was because I kept trying to put a cap/goal on growing it. In other words, I was putting a limit on it (of sorts) without even realizing it. I think that was my downfall: I was expecting it to get to, or be, in a certain place, and became dissatisfied with it constantly. This time, I'm just going with it, and I'm finding it's much easier to let it grow this way. Not worrying about where it will be when I get to a certain date.. Not worrying about the coverage, or even how it looks. It's honestly nice. It seems to be growing much faster when I don't pay attention to it (a watched pot never boils!). I'm getting more and more compliments as time goes. So, you can probably gather that I have no end date, or goal this time. I'm just going to let it keep growing, and not pay too much attention to it. Woo hoo!!
You've got to hang onto it at least until Christmas, Marsh.
