To be honest, someone called me Amish Abraham Lincoln and I wound up trimming it that week  ;D

Thank you Harry.  I know the quality and lighting of the pic is poor, though I suppose that happens when one gets lazy and uses a webcam to take photos. I also have blond hair.

Bald and bearded is an excellent choice for all younger sly guys who aspire to no longer look like children.  Of course, it never stops being an excellent choice for any bald man.  (For those who can't grow facial hair, well that's just less hair maintenance overall and more time for other things.)

You guys have some killer facial hair!  I wish I could grow a better beard, mine is not as dense or filled in as I would like it.
Albeit not perfect, I feel it is the best look I can get with what I've got.

SlyAdam, your beard looks great.  Looks much fuller than mine at your age, and probably now.  A little more length may help it appear fuller, but it looks good as is.

Just curious, do you follow any of the beard pages on Facebook? I follow "the love of beard". It's just quotes, comments & funny pics but I find it very amusing.

I don't have a Facebook account - although I am sometimes guilty of looking at my wife's Facebook.

So no, I don't follow any of the Facebook beard pages.

I'm just starting to grow one.  I'm 44 and I've always been clean shaven. I've never skipped shaving for more than a weekend.

I've thought about it before (even more after I started shaving my head) and even mentioned it to my wife a few times jokingly, but she was never a fan.  Last weekend out of the blue she stated that she wondered how I'd look with facial hair (beard, goatee, the '10 day growth' look - that's the one I think she's really thinking about).  So I took that as my opportunity and have stopped shaving my face.

Not sure how it's going to look. It is going to have a lot of grey and I'm not sue about the space below the lower lip, seems a little empty at this point.

I would actually like to end up with something like yours slyAdam. So while you may be envious of the others, I may end up envious of yours.

Well, skram, if you're like most of us guys, believe it or not, it only takes roughly three weeks to have decent coverage on the face (too bad the same can't be said for the scalp LOL).

First summer bald and full beard (being I work in fashion retail, I feel like summer is nearly over.)

Once upon a time. The End.
