Wish me luck, and throw me advice as you see fit
The beard is coming along a treat. Consider adding more length to the chin.
And dark framed glasses always look good with a bald head. But what would I know...

Well here it is lads. I only have it because I made a bet that I wouldn't shave or even trim until Connie and I got our visas to Canada... It's taking a while! I hate the feeling and I'm not keen on the look either, I'm sure I'd like it with a trim, but this needs shape, I keep getting told I look like a 'terrorist'. I'm holding some hair out to show how long it actually is, my hair is super coarse and just brushes up.
And because I couldn't resist.

Well here it is lads.
Goodness me. And get that mustache, too !
Does your beard change shape depending on your emotions ? Surprise ? Excitement ? Delight ?

Yup, all I did in that last photo was pull that face and the beard just knew what to do (it tells me to do things sometimes)

Oh, thank god I'm not the only one!
What's riding on this bet that you would go without trimming your beard for so long if you are unhappy with it?
PS, I love that last photo!

It's my good luck beard so it would be bad juju if I shaved it off. Kinda like when sportsmen grow their beards during playoffs... It's my visa playoffs beard.

Oh, thank god I'm not the only one!
Also, with such a colossal beard, I'm sure part of your brain and nervous system will have migrated into it, so I'm not surprised! I may not be enjoying mine, but I definitely have beard envy.

Completely understandable then, it's like washing that lucky jockstrap... Hopefully you win that visa playoff

Well there is always that, and one day my beard might get that long, but there are guys out there with awesome looking shorter or even quirky beards too, that make me a bit envious.

You already have more beard than a man your age is entitled to.

Haha, with the looks I get sometimes, I'm almost inclined to agree with you

I recently grew out my beard for the longest time I've ever allowed it to go, just over 3 months. Unfortunately I do not have any funny pictures to share with you guys, but with having quite wiry beard hairs, I was walking around looking like Slyfive's last pic there all too often. Being teased, etc. it was just too much.
I've been keeping my facial hair at 1/4'' length with a pair of clippers for the last month or so and it's been going well. A good compromise between looking like a teenager and a hipster hobo.

Unfortunately it seems all I can do is straight up hobo, or Amish perhaps.
