Just an update here. Took this a few days ago. Not a great picture...  Camera phone flash made me look more pale than normal  .
I have 1 month left until my initial goal... Pretty sure I'm gonna do the full year ('til October). Why not? Until I can answer that question, I have no reason not to.

I've just trimmed my beard short as we have had a run of hot weather (over 95F) and it got annoying.

I'm a little jealous of the heat wave you guys had over the border the other week. Although I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the full, ~2 weeks.

I kind of like your beard greatness, I don't think I'd be able to maintain something so short though haha.

Thanks, yours looks pretty gnarly. My hair doesn't get long it just gets thick and matted. I dabbled with a Chin strap last summer, I didn't keep it long before I got fed up and shaved it.

Thanks mate, I'm probably about due for a new picture. I'm almost at the 4 month mark for the chops component of my beard. I'm not sure how long I'm going to grow it out for. I'm thinking of letting it grow until at least April, because I've got a family wedding, and I know of at least one Aunty that will just LOOOOOVE to see it (read as sarcasm). Especially seeing she told me to shave it off by the next time she saw me, I told her that wasn't going to happen haha.
