Good to see some awesome beards with the sly noggins!  I am of the opinion that if your career allows it, that if you are sly but can grow a great beard, that you ought to at least try it once.  I think it is a cool look that is becoming more acceptable!  Beard On Sly Gents!     O0

As ever, thanks for the compliments.

Last night, went to a friend's birthday. Meet a few people hadn't seen for a year - just before I started shaving the head. Both commented on the beard, and neither said anything about the bald head !

@Razor, i guess it got "itchy" ;)

Not really.  The "itch" was all in my head.  I just got the desire to go back to my old look.  I resisted it for a few weeks but it didn't go away, so I finally just gave in.  That's not to say that the full beard won't make a return at some point.   I'm glad I tried it but it's just not what I want right now.

Looking good Saintc!

A beard is a much bigger commitment than a goatee.  I've had a goatee for nearly 20 years now, but during that time I grew it out into a beard three times.  I worked it differently each time but ended up realizing that I just wasn't a beard guy.  It wasn't until I grew out this last one that everything clicked and now I don't see myself going back to just a goatee.   If a beard is for you it might take a while for you to figure out exactly how to grow it best for you, or you might find that the goatee is the best option too.
You don't know me, but I know you.

The Facial Hair Handbook is on Amazon. I haven't read it but I heard about it the other day so I thought I mention it.

Looking good guys. Question: Are those beards like the one on the cover called "terminal" because they no longer grow?

Terminal beards keep growing but at terminal length the ends become fragile and break off.
