Slynick83--remember, Sly can be accomplished within minutes, a beard is a commitment to 2 even three months to see what it can really look like.  Suggest you review these Rules of Beard Acquisition--lots of good information there.

Keep that fine beard going and they'll take you for one of their featured beards. O0

Thanks, Saintc.

Determined to grow the beard until the end of January. Just a bit concerned that someone senior in the office might think it looks unprofessional. But as another SBG-er said here, no need to worry.

At the moment mainly motivated by the feel of it. The beard is developing some real body under the chin.

Cheers bloke, I'm glad I am living up to my name  ;)

Beardman, your own beard is a piece of living art.

It's been nearly 7 weeks since I last went to the barbers to have my trimmed. It's getting to the stage where its taking on a life of its own.

Haha thanks Mr Jules, I've never thought of it that way...

Your beard is coming along nicely itself, If you go visit the barber again don't go see that butcher!

;)  Things change from day to day mj.  Find life fun now days , wish I would have learned it years ago.   ;D

They say you are never to old to learn, some people just take longer to learn then others, I'm glad you are enjoying life again though, it's too short to be wasted not having fun!

Beardman, in about 15 or 20 years you'll have a nice wizard beard when it turns grey.   ;)

I was thinking we needed something like this ourselves, its funny how a lot of my own personal rules for growing a beard are in line with this, without me even knowing of it's existence!

Cheers bloke, I'm glad I am living up to my name  ;)

Haha, I can't wait for that day! Lots of people worry about going grey/white, I can't wait haha

Funny you say that, earlier today I was looking in the mirror and thought "I can't wait till it goes grey!"

Maybe it's a young sly outlook, we want to be one step futher along the road!!

Slynick83 and D O U G,  somehow I missed your pics..  Great starts on the beards.. I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

Marsh, yours is epic for sure.  My hat is off to you... oops, I don't wear hats..lol.

F77Scot.. yours will come back.  I did like the extra growth on yours before.

Beardman... I was just thinking how you would look with a sorcerer's hat on, and Razor  made the wizard comment... lol.   Another idea---Maybe you can go as "Gnomeo" for next Halloween.

Haha, Gnomeo's got nothing on me! I like the idea of going as a wizard or sorcerer though
