These days you need to seek out domestically-made goods if you want them. Electronics - forget it. Some of the large appliances are still made states-side, and of course some cars / trucks are (though, as Tyler noted, even if assembled in the US, that doesn't mean much regarding the source of parts).
I really try to buy my large purchases from companies who manufacture them in the U.S. - cars, large appliances, suits, other dress clothes, even shoes (Allen Edmonds / Alden are still made in USA, New Balance makes one running shoe model here I believe). The reality is that it costs more for most purchases, because the labor cost is higher. Each consumer needs to decide whether it's worth it to them.
