Being a staunch NL fan (holier than thou traditionalist), how can you call Interleague Play "Classic"?

Hypocrite.

j/k Anything that helps knock AL teams (other than my A's down helps...we're already looking at the wild card)

Hmmmmm... yes, I am a staunch (yet "ordinary") NL fan!  I guess that our pitchers (who aren't divas who need to be coddled and not have to bat), makes the NL a better league to watch and root for!

I hate the cubs, but I'll stand by the NL style of baseball.    The DH is a cop out by the AL.

To each his own, but I disagree with it being a "cop out".

Personally, I'd rather watch someone in the batter's box that knows how to swing a bat. And spare me the real baseball / situational hitting / strategy / Kevin Costner speech bullsh*t. Give me offense. And while you're at it, I like:

Breast implants (fake can be just as pleasing as the real thing)

Veggies on pizza (NY Pizza sucks). Those that don't live in regions with fresh produce are usually the ones that don't like veggies on their pie.

Put that in your crack pipe & smoke it!

You said it yourself, game 1...as in you know it is not going to be plural.  But hey, good for the cubs, cub fans are used to getting excited over regular season games....since they aren't used to comparing it to anything else. :*))

Thank goodness for interleague play...cubs only chance to face an AL team. :*))

Actually, I meant game 1 as in the first game of a series...

And while you're on your Sux bandwagon... and yes, it's a bandwagon.... they hadn't won ANYTHING past the end of September either up until two years ago, so get off your little high horse and pick a team one of the days and stick with them!  And no, free tickets shouldn't be a deciding factor
