Hi KG,
Yup healing nicely, look forward to reading your updates!
I went on a 20 mile ride today to work on cadence and hill climbs....feeling pretty good on this road bike. Here is a pic of the stead....some riders are 1/4 horses...I am in the Clydesdale class
Cheers,
Ty
Nice bike. 20 miles and hill climbs, sounds pretty intense. Sure you're not a thoroughbred?
Welcome to the fold KG
Ty: That's some good mileage you are pushing there mate!
I'm not sure if I am on track for hitting my target weight, I think it is going to have to be a big week next week to hit it, but I am keen as mustard, I am currently about 6 lbs off... and I have been known to do 5lbs in a week if I really knuckle down and try! So we will see
The shoulder keeps getting stronger every week, which is good
But, I have broken my PB a few times this month on the rowing machine, which is excellent, I've only had 1 or 2 rows over the 9min mark in what almost 3 weeks now, so I am pretty happy with that!
Nope KG just a mutt of a Clydesdale
Hey Beard- congrats on the PB! That's what it's all about, I will probably land a pound or so shy of my target weight but hay still having fun.
Cheers,
Ty

That is it mate, and if you aren't having fun you are doing it wrong! haha.

I love it!
Hope the recovery keeps progressing for you Beardman. It's nice to see the strength returning each time out.
Got to love technology...who ever thought a bike would have so many toys to play with
From left to right-
1) Garmin 450T - main use is route and elevation tracking...but does a ton more
2) Cateye Wireless computer - provide MPH (real time, avg, max), RPM (Cadence and max crank speed), Miles (total, lap, trip) and more but those are key
3) Polar FT80- heart rate (real-time, zones, max, min, avg), calories burned, tracks my weekly totals against goals, and my
strength training.
Just more of the fun of working out in this day and age for techno geeks like me!!
Cheers,
Ty
Whoa, it's like you're plugged into the Matrix.

LOL! Just be wary if Agent Smith comes knocking on your door, Ty!

Must say, I do enjoy a good gadget myself, I've not really got into fitness gadgets yet though, I did use Runkeeper app on my phone, but I had to delete it to make room... the old HTC desire doesn't have the room it used to...
afraid if I fall over in a puddle I'll be electrocuted
Hay hit my monthly weight loss goal today at -5.5 pounds....time for low cal party!!!!
Just got back from the gym for the 3rd time this week. Tearing up the August goals.
Nice to see we're all rolling right now.
I'd say I'll bring the low-carb beer, but like alot of things low carb I think it tastes awful! Congrats man!
Well done KG! I had en epic legs session last night, I lifted all my weights last night, I my proudest achievement of the night was my 260 pound standing calf raises! that was 2 jumps in weight on the old calf raise machine
Nicely done. Beardman is the Terminator!
Yes, for the record, low carb beer sucks.
Great work guys!!!!
My son and I are going to knock out 50 miles tomorrow, should burn some cals. Have to pass on the weights today because of that but got a good 14 mile ride in today. Bit of great non work out news, I am now a official single parent..my son is home to stay, he had been living with his mom....no more, the world is in its proper alignment
Have a great, but safe weekend all!!!!!
Cheers,
Ty
Ty, I'm very happy for you. I know how important a son can be. Great news. Have a nice 50 mile ride tomorrow.
