Hi, I stumbled onto SBG a month ago when searching for ways to get the mpb monkey off my back. I still had a decent amount of hair, but had been self-concious for years. Usually, in order to feel comfortable in public, I would wear a baseball cap. If at work or other situations where a hat was not allowed, I would try to work some magic with styling tricks and hope for no wind, rain, or anyone to touch my hair. That was such an exhausting way to live. Recently, on a trip to New Orleans, a friend of mine snapped a picture of me from behind. I could not believe how clearly visible the bald patch on the top of my head had become. I guess I hadn't seen that angle in a while. I was mortified and had to do something. Luckily, I always do my research and figured out that drugs, surgery, and fake alternatives were no solution.
So, I found this site and began reading the Forums. I instantly began to feel a sense of hope. Confidence was growing already, I could begin to live and not hold back due to hair constrictions. Go from shy to sly. So I did it last Friday night. It was easier than I expected (thanks to SBG advice), and over the past 4 days I've really enjoyed the look, feel, cool breeze, and convenience. I wish I would have found SBG sooner.
I genuinely want to thank all of you SBG regulars for your words of encouragement on the Forums, I've (lurked) read tons of them and it led me to take action. I would list the 20-30 of you on here, but you know who you are. All reactions from friends and family have been positive so far, and I even got my first headrub from a female today! I go back to work in 2 days, and I have a good feeling.

Welcome to the brotherhood mate! I am glad to hear that we were able to help you on your path to becoming sly. Make sure you give the 30 day challenge a crack, but it sounds like you might already be sly4life! Especially seeing you are already getting attention from the ladies

Welcome, man! Doesn't it feel good to have that MPB monkey off your back (as you so poetically said)? I totally agree. It bothered me for a long time before I finally took action and immediately felt better. Enjoy the look and the new found confidence!

Welcome KG. You've just added another post which will help build confidence for the guys who are reluctant to take action. Thanks for sharing that.
And I hope you'll stick around and participate in the discussions. More people make them more interesting.
