Thought I'd convey this one if for nothing else, just because it was funny/cute.
I was at Subway today and a woman and her two daughters were in line in front of me.
One daughter was abt 22 and the other was rather young, maybe 4-5 or so.
I kept catching the little girl looking at my head and looking away when I'd see her. After a few times, I saw her tug on her
older sisters hand and whisper something to her. I heard her sister quietly say to her "I don't think that would be nice." and
stand back up. I was nearly positive she had said something to her about my head, but didn't know what.
After a few more times catching her and her smiling I asked her "What do you keep giggling at, Cutie?"
Her sister turned around and said "Oh it's nothing, I'm sorry." I said "She's laughing about my head isn't she?"
Then Mom turned around and said "She's been talking about it since you walked in, I apologize too."
I told them to think nothing of it and laughed. Bending down I asked the little girl if she was going to cut her hair like mine
when she got home and she laughed out loud and said "Nooooooooo!" then "Can I touch it?"
Mom and Sis went mortified and started on the "No Honey that would be rude." route.
I told Mom if she didn't mind it was fine with me. Laughing a lil she said Ok and the the little girl reached up with both hands and
started rubbing the sides of my head like she was trying to polish it!!
Everyone laughed and the girl said "MOM IT FEELS LIKE RUBBER!! TOUCH IT!!
We were still laughing and the other people that were there were watching and smiling.
I said, "Go ahead Mom." and she gave it a quick rub at first then rubbed it for a second longer and said "Wow, it is really smooth."
At this point I'm thinking the older daughter would be embarrassed by her Mom and sister actions, but nope.
"Can I touch it too?" "Sure, rub it and make a wish!" She laughed and gave the top a rub or two.
It was all in all pretty funny and I went from 0 headrubs to 3 in just a couple of minutes!
I was sooo glad I woke up and shaved it this morning.
Not too bad for a run to get a quick sandwich for lunch. LoL!
