I have the exact same hairline, and trust me...bald is such a better look.

Shave it all off.

Welcome, Who Knows!

If you are contemplating a head shave then I would say it is time to just go for it. You will look fine as a fully-fledged member of the Bald Brotherhood.

All the best,

The one guard is certainly a start in the right direction....

I'm currently using a 1/16th guard on wahl clippers but i don't want to use no guard because I'm afraid of gaping myself.
It's just came to the point that i want to shave it but my parents don't think highly of me shaving my head which kinda makes me think they don't want me to shave my head. I'm just kinda stuck in a tree right now on what to do.

Well, if you have any hopes of it growing back, don't shave--but to be honest you don't have a prayer of that happening.  And yes, receding hair, thinning hair does make a guy look a lot older.  What you have left, or almost all of what you have left, will grow back if you don't like it after thirty days.  But, at your age, it will mostly be just a fringe in a few years.  Choice--do it yourself and make it neat and clean, or let Mother Nature do it, and she will.  It's just that Mother Nature is sloppy and unpredicable.  You can make it your decision--it's entirely up to you.

Shave it and be the SBG champion!  You will smile and look happier and handsomer !  The bald mass for departed hair has ended and blessed be the shiny and smooth.
