Finally done it

Hey guys, discovered this forum a while ago and been reading it as often as I can. Have been receding since about 16 years old and have fought the balding process as best as I could. I've never tried any medication but always tried to style my hair to try and cover up my my thinning hairline.
I'm now 28 years old and had enough of trying to hide it. Sick of always looking in mirrors trying to see if it's noticeable and tired of fearing any photograph that may reveal my baldness.
I took the plunge last Friday and buzzed it all over down to 2mm and now just trying to get use to it. I love how easy life is now as I use to spend ages with wax and gel trying to get it just right, lovely to just shower and go.
I guess I'm just worried I now look awful. My wife says she likes it but I guess I've just gotta convince myself!! Don't wana shave it completely just yet, it's pretty cold here in England and finding it hard enough adjusting to this hairstyle!
Anyways, thought I would just say hi and introduce myself and thank u guys for the continuous support for each other. It's not easy being a balding guy and I believe it really takes guts to make the change for the better  O0

You're probably right, not easy being a balding guy, but it is easy being a bald guy.just shave it off!

There was a day when I thought 2mm was short.now I know better! Bald and one days growth is pretty long.

Well done for taking the leap.  Don't rule out going completely bald as it is simply amazing.

Whatever your decision, enjoy it, that is the main thing!

After getting confortable with your new style, you'll want to shave those 2 mm left.
By the way, if the wife says it looks good on you then it must be so.

Welcome, worth08! I'm glad you are enjoying the easiness of wearing a buzz. As some others have already stated, you should give a clean shave a try. You may just love it... almost all do.

I'm sure you look fine. It's a big change, so it can take a while to get used to it. In time, it will become your look, should you choose to keep it. Just relax and enjoy.  8)
