First shave with the GSB. From what I've heard, I expected more. The shave was good, no nicks or irritation, but i feel like my Platinum coated blades, even my Treets, are smoother. Guess I'll have to try one in my 37c next.

Hi GWS: Nice SOTD pic... I love that NEW. I have the same one that I purchased a couple of months ago but haven't got a chance to use it. With you mentioning the Treet Platinums, I think I might have to revisit it again. I love the Treet Platinum blades, too.

Ahhhh... just had a great shave today using the 37G. If you are DE shaver and have not tried a slant razor, what are you waiting for? Love it! Also, if you are looking for a great shave soap, I highly recommend Mystic Water Soap. WARHAWK

Thanks Mel. The NEW LC is definitely a nice change of pace. It's my first OC, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. After about a week's worth of shaves with it (with 5 days of no shaving in between due to a sinus infection) I'm not sure it will overtake the 37c as my go-to. I think it's just as comfortable, but it doesn't seem to get quite as close in my trouble areas around my crown. I will say that it mowed down that 5 days of growth with a 2nd-use Astra SP like it was nothing.

I picked up a Burma shave brush at the store the other day and used it today, it's akin to the Semogue 2,000. I'll keep using it to test the longevity. It only cost me about $6 with tax so I'm pretty impressed. It lathers better than I expected, it had no problem lathering shave soap.
Razor: Fatboy
Blade: Derby
Brush: Burma shave brush
Post: Witch hazel
Today for the first time in a while my hand slipped and I nicked my neck, nothing serious.

Razor: Merkur 37c Slant
Blade: Polisilver Super Iridium
Pre Shave: Taconic PSO
Soap: Col. Conk Amber
Brush: Omega 10066 Boar
Post Shave: Witch Hazel, Pinaud Clubman Original
DFS in 3 passes WTG, XTG, GTX.
My first time with the Polisilver SI, which I know is one of Warhawk's favorites. The blade felt very sharp and very smooth, but left me with some burn after only one pass. Reminded me of the way many describe Feathers. Sharp yet harsh. The blade seemed to work so well that I'm going to have to give it some more time to see if I can fix that.

Mongoose w/ BRW Bullmastiff Deluxe Handle
Feather Professional
Cella!
Semogue 610
Ice cube rub, refrigerated WH, refrigerated Osage Rub
Just had a super, smooth shave with the Mongoose. Lately I have been on a Mike's Natural Soap and Mystic Water Soap kick, so I decided to revisit the famous Cella. Glad I did. If you haven't tried this soap, I highly recommend this soap. It is a great performer.

Razor: King Cobra
Blade: Feather Professional
Soap: Mystic Water Soap: Bay Rum
Brush: Semogue 2012 Special Edition
Dessert: Ice cube rub, refrigerated WH, refrigerated Osage Rub
I am a participant in the King Cobra Tour on www.badgerandblade.com. I was lucky to join and I will be using it this week. I had my very 1st shave with the King Cobra today and had a great shave.
First impressions is that this is a huge razor. It is beautifully made but not as sexy as the Cobra Classic. I was very surprised that it was milder then the Cobra. Overall, I had a great shave and look forward to using it this week.

Nice looking Razor, warhawk, but as you said, not as sexy as the Classic.
