That M3 is definitely more aggressive than my Super Speed or my Tech. Still getting used to it, but I'm liking it. Probably wont be my daily but will stay in my rotation. The Voskhod blade is SHARP but feels more forgiving than the Feather, but not as smooth as the Personna Red. The Coates has a great Almond scent. Seems like the scent fades quickly while on my head. Would have liked to smell it as I shaved, but it smells awesome in the mug. Lathered up easily. Rich lather. I'd say comparable to TOBS. Lasted the entire shave and then some. I should have bought more than one tube. Will be grabbing more.

Love the Voshkod Wut! Good blade for me...
Did you pick up the Dove ASB at a local Target?? I may have to try some.
@Digitaldome - actually I picked that up at Wal-Mart I believe. It's fairly inexpensive and moisturizes well. No greasy feel.
Going to use my 37c for the first time tomorrow! Yikes!!!
@Goatee - Watch your razor pressure, don't go over an area too many time without adequate lather, and watch your angle. You'll be fine...good luck!
@Bluebriz - I love the Proraso line.
My problem is I have too many soaps...
I got a friend to try shaving with a DE. Actually, he found his father's razors. A 59 Fatboy and 64 Flare-Tip SS. Told him how to clean them, gave him some soap and blade sampler and he loves the DE Shave.
I will be able to shed a few pucks and tubs his way...I hate doing the B,S,&T with soaps as the point of sale.
Well, used the 37c today on face and head. 2 tint little nicks on neck, none on head! Shave went ok but a lot of drag! Could be blade as i lathered well. May be technique to!! Used a Derby.

New Blade day! I tossed a PolSilver IR in the Tech this morning. The Pols came highly recommended. I'm undecided about them so far. I mean it was a relatively smooth shave. But after using the Feathers, Personnas, and Voskhod, the Pols seem way too mild. I'll probably have to try it in my M3 to get a real feel for it. I'm also learning that lather from a cream and lather from a harder soap are very different in composition. I think my preference is leaning toward creams. And I've finally decided I'm not a fan of Aubrey Organics ASB. It's watery, the scent is kind of weird, spurts out of the pump bottle, the only good point is that it drys quickly. I still have like half a bottle left so I'll probably keep using it till its gone, but wont repurchase!
@Goatee: I would not give up on the 37C. You just test drove it for one day and I just noticed that you are selling it.
You should at least try it out for a couple of weeks. I would not use a Derby blade. Derby blades for a 37c do not cut efficiently. I would use a Feather, Gillette 7 o clock Black, Gillette Silver Blue, Voskhod, Astra SP, Treet Platinum, or Polsilver Super Iridium. Keep us posted but I would not give up on only your 1st try with the 37c. Slant razors are efficient razors.

@digitaldome: Hi Paul: Nice pic and how do you like the Floid Black? That will be one that I place on my future list. Either the Floid Blue or Floid Black or both.
How do you like the scent? Does it last? Does the scent fade quickly? I hate scents that fade quickly unless if it is the Osage Rub. I love the Osage Rub for the menthol blast and tingling sensation.

@W: Hi Adonis... I would not give up on the Polsilver Super Iridium, yet. How do you like the LASS Woody Lavender? Scent? Performance?

Hey Mel...I love the scent of Floid Back. It lasts...it doesn't fade quickly.
Floid Amber is another good scent...it also lasts, but it is only sold in 400ml bottles. You better like it before you buy :-))
The Floid Blue is nice but nothing special for me. Scent doesn't last like the others.
Hi Paul: Thanks for you mini-review. I will keep that in mind when I pull the trigger on one. Right now, I am enjoying the FINE after shave splash. I am really loving the fresh vetiver scent. The scent is clean, crisp, classic, and last a good while. It always gives a nice menthol burn but not the strong menthol blast of Osage Rub.
