Razor: 1969 Gillette Super Adjustable (aka "Black Beauty")
Blade: Feather
Soap: Mike's Natural Soap (Lemongrass &.Eucalyptus)
Brush: Morris & Forndran
Dessert: Ice cube rub, refrigerated WH, refrigerated Osage Rub
This is my 1st time using the Black Beauty. There is always something special when shaving with a vintage razor. I had it dialed @ #7 for the entire face & dome shave. It is built like a tank and shaves like a dream.

This is my 2nd dance with the Black Beauty. I love its balance and handling. Mike's Natural Soap continues to provide great lather, cushion, and glide. The scents are out of this world and it leaves your skin fully moisturized.

Nice pics and descriptions gents!
After seeing Smoothsailing showing his beautiful Feather AS-D2 razor, I decided to dig out my own Feather DE, a Feather travel razor. I paired it with a Polsilver blade, Omega brush and Proraso green (old formula).
The result was a gloriously smooth and comfortable shave. This combination might be getting a few days!
Dessert was witch hazel followed by Lucido aftershave lotion.

Awesome posts, all. I don't post on here much, but I do check back and read. My shave lineup is always the same - I'd love to figure out where you get all those classic razors, war hawk, I check eBay but find old, nasty looking ones mostly. Out of curiosity, do you have a favorite?
I go with my EJ, proraso, feather or derby blades and headblade clearhead on the dome, aqua velva on the face.

@ Smoothsailing: Jeremy. . . don't be shy around the sly fraternity and kindly post up your pics of the SOTD of your AS-D2 razor.
@ Bluebriz: Brian... very nice photo my friend.
@ Bucksfan: Glad that you are back. We would love to see your SOTD pics. As far as my favorite razors... if I had to pick it would be my Webers (DLC, ARC, PH), Merkur 37C & 37G, Cobra Classic, Gillettes: Black Beauty, Slim, and Fatboy.

I have just had the best shave ever! After a shower, I applied some unrefined shea butter, similar to pure cocoa butter, it is in a block, quite firm but melts into your skin. I applied it, then lathered up with my brush, it made the lather so thick, it had peaks! first pass wtg, rinsed with hot water, repeated the shea butter and lathered up atg...result...smoothest shave of my life...absolutely no razor burn on my neck for the first time ever! no nicks, no sting from the alum block! The only thing I will change, is to thin out the shea butter with some olive oil, as it dig clog the de, but a quick rinse under the hot tap sorted that...my skin is so smooth...the butter was £6 for a good sized tub, and whisked down with some olive oil, it would make a lot.
