Do you just set the bowl on the side of the tub? I see myself having to create some kind of hanging platform for my shower hahah. The ground is not flat enough and the tub wall is narrow for my XL scuttle ><
Actually I just put it on the shelf below the mirror while I'm showering.
hmmmmm my scuttle is quite hefty. I'm sure i could find a nice hanging shelf for the shower head large enough to accommodate it. I didn't think of that thanks
SOTD Saturday April the 6th 2013:
Head:
Razorock professional Lube; WS Extreme III
Face:
Body shop Maca Root shave cream
Gem Featherweight (generously piffed by an esteemed member of this forum), with Gem blade.
Omega boar brush
Dessert:
Witch hazel, 444 gel with Lucido aftershave.
Most things here I use regularly, but this was my first time with the Body Shop Cream. It has an unusual scent that was familiar to me but I couldn't quite place. The cream lathers easily and offers wonderful protection and glide, as well as leaving my skin feeling great afterwards.
Normally I don't use Body Shop products, but a respected gent recommended it to me and I have to say it's fantastic stuff!
Overall, a wonderful start to the weekend!
"Piffed" is from "pif" which means pass it forward or pay it forward. It's like doing a good deed for someone (in this case giving me a razor) and knowing that I'll pass something on to someone else in the future. It's a very common thing around wet shaving forums like badgerabdblade.com
Ah ok someone explained pif to me but I haven't seen it used like that yet haha
Hi Brian: Great pic of the SOTD. I'm glad that you are enjoying the Gem Featherweight. I am thoroughly enjoying my Gem G Bar. Last night I decided to try my Merkur 37C and I had a fantastic shave.

Best head/face shave yet! I used a new razor and soap I bought today at Art of Shaving. Very pleased with these purchases. New razor is heavier and more aggressive than my merkur... something I like actually because I was putting too much pressure and this razor really helped me just use the weight of the razor. The soap was awesome! Amazingly thick and easy lather, something I'm more accustomed to in creams than soaps. The sandlewood smell could be a bit stronger, but other than it being too weak, it's a great scent!
Razor:
Muhle r106
Blade:
These blades came with my sampler. Since they were added in there extra and not listed I have no clue what they are. They just say "10 Double Edge Blades" and underneath "Made in Isreal" Anyone know who makes these?
Brush:
Same brush I always use since I only have 1. Not sure if it's made by this vendor or is another brand. No distinguishing features about the brush beyond the handle really and there are no marks on it. In fact if anyone can help me identify that would help... (
