My uncle is a crazy antique shop/thrift store guy. When he heard I was into wet shaving, he gave tme the pictured Gillette Red Tip. Today he gave me a scuttle he picked up in a second hand store, also pictured. I couldn't wait to get home to use it and get rid of this three day growth I had going on. It was my first time using a scuttle and it added another layer of pleasure to my DE shaving. Brushing on that warm lather felt awesome, especially after the last stressful 24 hours. My car broke down on the parkway, it took me an extra day to get home, and cost me $850. The shave definitely helped me relax a little.
Razor: 1955 Gillette Red Tip
Blade: Vidyut Super-Max Stainless
Creme: Van Der Hagen Select Shave Soap in scuttle
Method:with, across, against the grain
After: Maca Root Razor Relief, the Body Shop
Old Spice Classic

Razor: Weber DLC
Blade: KAI
Soap: Mike's Natural Soap: Lemongrass & Eucalyptus
Brush: The Grooming Company Brush
Dessert: Ice cube rub, refrigerated WH, refrigerated Osage Rub
Just had an incredible, super shave on this special day. This is my very 1st time using a synthetic brush. This brush is great. It is super, soft yet scrubby. It has the strong backbone of a Semogue boar brush. I already know that I am going to love this brush.WARHAWK
