Being a London sly, very much looking forward to the olympics.

The Olympic torch goes past our office on 26 July. And if I am lucky should be able to see the fireworks from my bedroom window.

London is very much in Olympic mode now.

I am also looking forward to the Summer Olympics.  Basketball, boxing, and track/field will be my top 3 events but I will still be watching the other sporting events.

Watching South Africa's 20 year old Chad Le Clos beat the great Michael Phelps by 500ths of a second and pick up gold in the 200m butterfly last night was one of my sporting highlights this year.  Absolutely awesome to watch this youngster do his country proud.

Michael Phelps and Gabby Douglas have been the stories so far. Now that track & field has started, I'm interested to see which stories take over this week.

I am thoroughly enjoying the Olympics.  The venue is awesome, London looks so clean,   the competition is tight everything is so professional.  The photography is out of this world!  If you are from the US or China, you must be smiling at all the number of medals flowing your way.  But Great Brittan were on top of the world last night with three gold’s.  Nice to watch.
