New Sly Bathroom Renovation
« on: July 02, 2012, 07:39:58 PM »
Ahem,

For weeks I've been reading multiple posters' recommendations to do the ice rub after shaving. But the logistics of remembering to go to the kitchen and collect ice before showering (I shave in the shower), or to get adequately dressed after showering to fetch ice seems overly challenging for my brain. Particularly in the morning.

Just now I read Warhawk's firm recommendation to store witch hazel in the fridge.

Thus, it seems the bathroom (at least mine) now needs to be furnished with refrigerator/freezer to meet minimum "sly" standards.

Mine already has a coffeemaker (that is essential in the morning).

Add a couple of beer taps and you'll never see me again.

Six weeks ago I had no idea my "grooming center" would become pivotal to the success of my entire day!

Gee coffeemaker in the bathroom, never thought of that one. but fridge/freezer, beer taps, may as well convert it into a proper man cave and add an entertainment system too... now that is a place a man can call his own!

On a serious note, you can pick up little bar fridges nice and cheap, so there is no reason you couldn't try it out. Also if you have milk in your coffee, there is another good reason to have one in your bathroom!

How do the ice cubers stop their ice from melting? do you just do a dash to the kitchen when you have finished up?

Hi Frontierguy:  Genius on the coffeemaker in bathroom O0

Beardman:  After my shaves... I casually walk 2 the kitchen, grab the ice cube, go to bathroom.  No problems and No worries. O0

I like the way Frontierguy thinks. Add a sleeping bag and microwave and you'd never have to leave the bathroom except to go grocery shopping. And you wouldn't even need to do that if you hire a personal shopper.

Very novel idea. Personally though, I tend not to hang out where the toilet hangs out.  ;D
