Took the plunge

Over the last 4 years I have had a drastic increase in hair loss. I have tried everything to try and conceal the effects such as layering the hair, using Shampoo enhancements, etc. 2 weeks ago I was visiting my Dad and after a few beers and years of frustration I grabbed his beard trimmer and cut a line right down the center of my head. Now i was commited to shave it. I can't begin to describe the feeling of liberation when I was finished. It was like that "Monkey" was finally off of my back. I felt so carefree and was not concerned with anybody's reactions. Fortunately, I have had nothing but positive feedback and compliments. I used to envy those guys that had the balls to shave it with confidence and now I feel it too. I have been visiting SBG for about 2 years and I've finally taken the plunge.

Anybody considering shaving should go for it. Don't let the media or others tell you how people will react to it. Thanks for all of the support brothers. Here's to never having a bad hair day again.

Indeed welcome. Your story is just added reinforcement of the extraordinary release from hair issues which is possible.

Great picture. Suited to sly, to be sure. And the look of confidence.

It's great that you started shaving. First shave was the hardest step - psychological speaking.
Head shaving is kind of addictive, there are people that try it and others that don't.

welcome. good story. can't tell from thee story or the picture if you are fully shaved on top or just buzzed as short as possible.  If you have not shaved your head completely bald, id urge you to do hat. Looks about tthe same, but feels much different. I much prefer the bald feel.

But I  like the part about taking the clippers right down the center. I know the feeling.I did that too.
