During my last few weeks of hair ....

my clipper has a variable length setting to go between the fixed clipper settings.  I'd go a few days at the LONG #1, then adjust back to a MEDIUM #1 and then a SHORT #1.  Same with a 1/2 guard.  Then no guard. steps along the way.

Every 2-3 days my hair was getting shorter and shorter.  so, Frontier Guy.  Just take it down every few days and before you know it, All will be used to you being bald and will enjoy it.

Hell of a first post, newbie! Excellent write up. Thank you for sharing your story here. I hope it inspires many younger men to not be afraid to try bald.  O0

And for single guys, here's more good news: women are interested in confidence above all else. Not fake, "pick-up line guy" confidence, but genuine, soul-deep confidence that comes from knowing who you are and believing in yourself as a person.

I just wanted to emphasize this for those who are worried about their sex appeal as a baldy. It's sage advice, and very true.

Agree 100%!

Excellent first post!  Welcome to the forum!

 :)

Great post man!

I have to slightly disagree though...if someone wants go from a head of hair to bald...why not? It might be a shock to some people...but they'll get over it quickly. :)

Agreed jason. the first time I straight shaved i was about a #1 and a half the day before, and I got zero comments whatsover the followng day with my shaved head. From my experience if you already have a tight buzz, the majority of people already think of you as having a shaved head.

Brilliant first post, mate. You look like you have been sly for a good while as you "wear" the look so well.
However, I do agree with JasonR that if someone goes from head-of-hair to straight bald, even though it may be a big shock to others, then why not? People get over the shock of seeing you bald quite quickly.

i agree with you in gradually becoming fully bald.  I did that many years ago myself starting in my late teens.

So here's my call to you: put down your swords and quit this battle. It's not worth it. You have known that for a long, long time. It's time to lay down your demons and get square with yourself. Make a plan to shave it off, and then rejoice in the freedom it brings you.

So... shave off your demons?...
