I've checked out this site quite a few times throughout the last year or so, and really have to say thank you to all of the posters and bald men that have posted about their experiences with shaving their head and how to just get on the wagon. I always have kept my hair pretty short,  got my first flat top at 13 and pretty much kept it that way up until the last couple years when the urge to become bald kind of hit me, and I started shaving my head. Enjoyed being bald a ton , loved the way it felt but was still a little self conscious about whether or not it looked ok, being bald, on me. So as the story goes I would grow back to the skinned flattop I had which only took a few weeks. The urge to become bald would return and as its gone the want to be totally bald would win back over, and the flat top got peeled down 2 or 3 more times until the last time, on Memorial Day, when I took the razor across the top once again. I've stayed shaved completely daily since then and have no plans on going back. I have realized through flip flopping how silly it is to worry about the little bit of hair on top making me look better. Even with the flat I was almost a daily shaver of the sides and back, so now shaving completely bald all over is really a great feeling that all you guys can relate to. The truth is that I had a desire to be bald and I should've just stuck with it the first time I shaved my head. I've gotten pretty hooked to staying shaved through the whole process so I am confident I will stick with the look this time and keep it shaved once a day, from now on... Thanks to all of you on this site for helping me learn how to become a confident, properly shaved, bald guy;)

Welcome Luke ... commit to shaving for 30 days which will help to reinforce the daily routine and stabilize your indecision. The 30 day process is a great experience.

Thanks for the welcome my sly brothers, really have enjoyed this site and am looking forward to posting in the future and future topics. I'm still shaving everyday and loving it more each day. Still love catching a glance in a window or mirror, and thinking wow that bald guy is me O0 really a rush! I am planning on putting up a pic as soon as I get my laptop back, can't post one for some reason with my iPad or phone. Want you guys to see the result of my wanting to be bald, and the good information on this awesome group led me there. Should have shaved just as soon as the urge to be bald came, being totally bald feels great! Happy shaving ;)

We're looking forward to seeing the shiny head!  Be sure that the picture you are trying to post is not too large. About 50K is a good size. Much larger and they won't take.
