I too do not use a headblade or anything special to shave my dome with you can try ordering some products from them if you decide to go the route or a kit to get you started same goes for me if i decide to go that route.

I have been using a headblade sport since my first shave a few years back and I love it. The only thing I don't care for is the blades they sell tend to clog up pretty quick. I was able to try out the 4 and 6 blades they came out with which are much much better and should be available for sale soon. Even when I have used face razors like the fusion/mach types, I always use headslick to shave, nothing beats it in my opinion.

You can get it at Walgreens, I'd advise against buying from headblade.com as I find their pricing more expensive. If you want to buy online, use Amazon.

i'm almost to 30 days and i love the feel of being shaved smooth in the morning  but i am not too crazy about the razor i'm using. i currently use the proglide styler by gellete and i like it for my face but not a fan for my head. the blades do not last long at all and there is just something about the razor that i dont like for my head. so should i try headblade aswell as all the other produtcs like headshed etc. ?
I've been using the Headblade along with Headslick and Headlube since my first shave.  I love it and I find I get a super smooth result.

I would recommend watching the videos to get a good feel for how to use it.

I thought about doing that myself but then you got to by the products separately instead of all together cause some places like the drug stores only carry the headblade used to shave the head .

along with the shave cream plus the razors that are by headblade nothing else so you could have a shaved dome but no protection for it know what i'm saying.

so no protection for the dome or wash for it to keep your head clean why just spend the money and get a kit from headblade them self?  drugstore.com is a lot cheaper is you choose to by the products separately for anyone interested http://www.drugstore.com/search/search_results.asp?N=0&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallpartial&Ntk=All&srchtree=1&Ntt=headblade&Go.x=17&Go.y=20

a tip if ur not sure about trying their products (as opposed to the razor itself), check out their travel kit.  It comes with headlube, head shed (exfoliant), and both matte and shiny moisturizers for less then 15 bucks, and some places less then ten.  I've tried their exfoliant, matte and shiny and was happy cuz the only I continue to use is their matte moisturizer and didn't need to dump 7+ bucks on any of them and be stuck with a full bottle of something I don't like.

I bought a second HeadBlade as a backup - which basically guarantees the first one will never break!

I have been using HeadBlade with the triple blades for about 2 years now. Two things I would highly recommend.
1) Try to hold off until August when the new 4 and 6 blade cartridges become available. I tried these and the risk of hurting yourself is reduced tremendously. The adapter for the blades is a totally new design. I prefer the 4 blade myself. I think you will have a whole different opinion of HeadBlade if you start with the new adapter and blades.
2) My second recommendation is shave in the shower. I kept reading this advice and thinking, "How much difference can it make?" After trying it I found I always get a much better shave in the shower. No comparison. If you decide to try the shower and feel like I did that you need a mirror. Go to Amazon. You can get a great fog free mirror that works by filling it with hot water and mounts on a suction cup for only around 10 bucks. And look into a little 5 dollar gadget you can get at Lowes or Home Depot to shut off the shower temporarily at the shower head. If you spend as much time in the shower as I do you can see a difference in the bill for heating up the water.
There's no normal life, Wyatt, it's just life. Get on with it.

Sister gave me a Headblade with cartridges today for Father's Day! I've set the target date to try it on my birthday in less than three weeks....

The HB takes some getting used to at first but once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty efficient way to shave.
Just a tip avoid putting pressure on whichever finger you use in the ring (it'll make sense when you try it out). Don't put extra pressure as that will just sweeny todd your dome and won't give you a closer shave.

Headblade is the way to go- on day #60 here using Headblade. It takes getting used to but I am finding that the time I spend is getting to be less. Definitely in the shower gives me a closer shave as I am BBC. I do use the Headslick and recently got the Headwash and Head Scrub. Not sure if it is my wishful thinking but they do seem to helping me get a closer shave each day. Stubble is way to quick here but I use glossy to accentuate the shine even when stubbel starts back by noon. No turning back now- BBC is the way I want to keep it. Good luck and stick with it.

cartridges.

When the 4 and 6 cartridges come out, I will no doubt try them, although I am happy with the generic twin cartridges. You know how it goes? "New is beautiful!"
