Welcome aboard! I'm not in the UK, but I second the Nivea shave gel recommendation. I'm using it and am happy with it.

I too recommend Nivea Sensitive Gel - readily available - best price I've found is at Boots Chemist. Recently had on offer 3 for the price of 2. I stocked up!
Can't help on the Headblade. Couldn't cope with it. I use a Wilkinson Quattro for faceand head. Works really fine for me.
