Me personally, I would wait till the morning, so I can stay smooth all day( well most of the day anyway ).

Yeah, wait till morning -- otherwise, you'll get stubbly too early in the day.  Touching up in the morning won't make much difference as there won't be enough regrowth for the razor to catch.  Waiting until morning should ensure an extra-smooth long-lasting shave.

In the meantime, run your hands over your scalp a few times and see what areas are still relatively smooth.   It helps give you an idea of how bald you've actually become.  It's a little freaky when you hit a spot where nothing's growing back.

my vote shouldn't count because I always shave at night, to stressed in the morning. I like the stubble for work anyway, got that grizzly look. Seriously though if I shaved in the morning my head would look terrible as I'm not too sharp for the first 5 hours of the day.

I did however shave before class a couple times because of a girl I sat next too. She loved to touch the top of the noggin. She was the only exception  ^-^
