Not my kind of music, but I was sorry to hear of her passing. So young!

Unfortunately SUmmer was sick for a long time. I saw her on LI at a concert 4 years ago and she told the aduience she had not been well for quite  a bit. A sad thing to go that way in her early 60s.

Huge Donna Summer fan here. I grew up with her music, and one song of hers in particular, is my all time favorite, "I Feel Love". Nothing like it had been heard before and it was way ahead of its time back in 1977. There are many more songs of hers that rank among my favorites, so I will definitely miss her, but thankfully, her music will live on.

I'm not, and never was, a fan of that kind of music. That being said, I got to dance with a lot of good looking women back in the day because of Donna Summer.
RIP.

I enjoyed listening to her music.....As a kid in the late 1970s-early 80s growing up in New Orleans, I used to live near an amusement park named Pontchartrain Beach. You couldn't go through a day at that park without hearing at least two or more Donna Summer songs (Blondie was another artist that was played a lot during that stretch). I had a crush on her as a boy in my pre-teens....Oh, IMO she was a Bad Girl who worked Hard for the Money....I loved to listen to her On the Radio, she will always be Hot Stuff to me...A woman who made me Love to Love my baby and I would have been honored to do the Last Dance with her...Condolences to her family, and like was said earlier, her music will live on for her fans!
