I'm writing this post from London Stansted airport. In fact I just got into my hotel which is right next to the airport. I have an early morning flight so I better go to bed now and get at least a couple hours sleep before heading HOME, yeah can't wait to see my kids

Are there direct flights from Stansted to the States ?

Confused Mr Jules

Really don't know if there are flights from Stansted into the US, I'm going south rather than west. The 92 Olympics were in Europe.........

Plenty of excitement here in London tomorrow (Thur 26 July).

Because the olympic torch is going right outside our office. We're just 3 minutes walk from the office of the prime minister, David Cameron. So after it's been by our office, it's goes to his offices and photo opportunity.

Because of the Olympic vehicles, much of central London is now closed to private motor cars. It's now much easier to do my daily commute to the office on my bike !!

Just seen the torch near Trafalgar Square. Crowded and very exciting.

Bradley Wiggins is now a national hero. Want to see him in Saturday's road race around the streets of London. He's going for Olympic gold again !

Meanwhile, US presidential candidate, Mitt Romney has annoyed many of us here in the UK with his comments about our London Olympics.

Don't worry about him, just enjoy the show & the events.  Are you going to any of the competition?

Will follow your advice and not worry about Mr Romney.

Yes, tomorrow planning to watch British Tour de France champions Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish in the bike road cycle race.

This morning, we saw the Olympic torch being carried on the Royal Rowing Barge along the River Thames. Terrific spectacle. I'll add pictures...

Tonight, we have the Danny Boyle opening ceremony spectacular. Believe you me, BBC television have been absolutely milking this all day along. And so have the rest of us.

Forgive the excitement. Here in London, we are all hopping up and down with anticipation.  :D
