I get asked about my bow tie, frequently. Most people say, "Isn't it hard to tie a bow tie? I could never do that."
Give a look at Lucky Levinson of Columbia South Carolina as he demonstrated. This is the BEST video for how to tie a bow tie that I think I have ever found. I share it freely.
Just recently the manager at PF Chang's commented on my bow tie and asked "How do you tie it?" I have him this link.

Thanks that is really cool!
I have always wondered how to tie it!
Now I just need an occasion worthy of wearing one?

Oh, you don't need an occasion. Just wear one. I wear one most days to work. I'm about the only guy at work who wears a tie of any kind.
I wore one last night when I went out with my wife for dinner.
Yes, you probably don't need to wear a bow tie to the football game or the swimming pool. But wear a tie to the movies or out to dinner. It's just fun.

I did wear a bow tie with my dress blues for the Military Ball in March. I was just so excited about wearing the uniform, I really didn't appreciate the bow tie until I saw some of the pictures taken. Next bow tie wearing for me: February 23, 2013 for sister's wedding....

Next time I see a cheap one I might just buy it!

Do you remember how long it took to learn how to tie a shoe lace? And now, how long does it take you....
Same with bow ties.
For best results, wear a bow tie daily for a month (30 day rule, LOL). By the end of the month, you'll have it down and never forget how to tie a bow tie.
