... but am not able to. I don't know why I cannot take the plunge. Ok, because I got plenty of bad reactions. But is it really that bad? Seems to be the case.

No and being. Bald in Berlin is not uncommon  . My fav city and could easily live there , go for it and stick with it ,

I agree.. nothing wrong with your noggin. If it would make you happy, go for it.

You have to sleep with yourself  & wake up with yourself in the morning. Consider who is giving you bad reactions and why you are worried about their opinions?;  parents, wife, siblings.. etc. Talk to them and tell them this is something you really want to do for your happiness and they are making you feel bad. If they care about you as much as you care about their opinion, they will back down.

Sage advice from Electric Rider.

Do it for YOU. Not for anyone else. Those who truly care about you, and respect you, will get used it to it, if they don't accept it initially. As for those who can't ultimately accept it as who you want to be, and would even discourage you from it... Well, they don't need to be in your life. Be who you want to be. Shave it off.
