Today, April 30th, 2012, we celebrate Louisiana's bicentennial....I'm sure there will be plenty of observances across the state...just thought I'd bring it up, since we have quite a few Louisianans in the sly fraternity...

Awesome news! I honestly had no clue. I plan to BBQ today so now I have even two reasons. Got to get me some O'Doul's.

Think I'll celebrate by boilin' me up a big 'ol pot of them crawdads! Throw in some corn, potatoes, "shrums"', and spice it all up withe the normal goodies. Looks like it'll be a good day@ the firehouse!

And I wanna go to the UK. There should be a cultural exchange program for adults who want to experience other cultures. We could use ships. Meet in the middle and discuss things the other might experience. When it's over, we could meet again on the return trip to tell how our experience went.  Would be awesome. Now if we could just figure out how to get our governments to pay for it.. (grin)
