Anybody here testing the new HB cartridges?

I signed up to test the new 4 & 6 blade cartridges but my adaptor broke so I'm not sure how good of a tester I'll be. I started out with the 6 blade today and it would have been better if the adaptor didn't break.

hey sir I ordered two packs for the test and my first adaptor broke too! So I added the other one on but I haven't tried it yet! sir if I have another one I would send it to you! I'll try to see if I can find  a way to make another adaptor! I'll let you know!

I will think very carefully before spending more money HB STUff, the lotions are good , might be better to spend the money on gillette fusion .

I signed up on their facebook page, I don't think they're sending out any more test blades this round.

I googled this and they closed the offer pretty quickly, when they had enough participants.

Sounds like they went pretty quickly. Good sign for HB.  ( I think).

By the way, I recently purchased HB blades at Walgreens for $1.50 off.

In my testing of the new blades I found them to be excellent, I will be keeping a close eye on them and if they are reasonably priced then I won't hesitate to buy them.

From what I read on Facebook earlier today, they have had several reports of adapters breaking. I also signed up for the samples, but haven't received mine yet.

I quite like the 6 blade, I just hope the pricing is reasonable for them.

Outside of the cartridge breaking how were the new blades?

Hey guys.  Quick question for anyone that tested the new HB cartridges.  Which of the cartridges were better in your opinion?  I saw on their Facebook page that they'll be available for sale in August.  The 4 blade razors will be available in retail stores, but the 6 blade will be available online only.  Thanks.

I tested them. After the complaints of the adapter breaking during the first test they came out with a stronger adapter and did a second round of testing. I am totally and absolutely sold on the new design. There seems to be widely varying opinion on whether the 4 or 6 is better. I personally am a fan of the four blade but for me the biggest advantage here is the new adapter. It takes away 90% of the risk of knicks and gouges.

I felt like the 6 blade got a closer shave in fewer passes. The 4 blade did a good job as well. I'll agree that the new adaptor design is a vast improvement. I was a little worried at first because I've ginsued the hell out of the back of my dome with HB before but the new design makes it so that'll only happen if you intentionally try for it.

It was inevitable, my little yellow adaptor broke, so now I am hunting the shelves for those that fit the black adaptor. To buy a new yellow and a new black adaptor together, I have to buy a set of 4 new blades which also contains the adaptors for R100, (about 16 Dollars) That's the only way.
