After five days
« on: April 11, 2012, 07:41:23 AM »
I think the shock factor has worn off now for family, friends, and co-workers. But I have a white, bald head now and I'm going to spend my lunch hours outside if I can to get some sun on it (I work inside all day and never get any sun, so it's my only option). I'm just going to plaster my head with sunscreen factor 50 lotion and hope I don't get sunburned. I'm going to the beach soon, and I KNOW I'll get a massive sunburn up top unless it has a *little* tan. Does this sound like a plan?

Sounds like it will work, but don't forget to bring you sunscreen to the beach and reapply it throughout the day.  Bring a hat too and use it.  Your dome will even out pretty quickly anyway.  Enjoy the freedom of sly!

That white head look will go away quickly. Always keep a hat handy.

I know you're anxious to get rid of the white scalp, but take it slow.  A little exposure each lunchtime is a good plan.  Better to get the exposure over time than get a bad burn by rushing things.

If you haven't noticed it yet, the sun feels much hotter on a bald scalp than on your hair.  Use sunscreen, limit your exposure and use hats / caps to protect yourself.
