I wasn't sure where to post this. I've been using Nivea Body and Face Wash to wash my head. Lately I've been noticing that it has been drying my head out. I also looked in the ingredients and noticed that it contains menthol (not good for moisturing) what do you guys use after shaving on your head to wash? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any good facial soap will do the trick. You can also try the special washes made just for the scalp by both companies that are geared towards headshaving: HeadBlade HeadWash or Bald Guyz Daily Wash and Shampoo.

St. Ives Apricot scrub. There are several versions but I use the one for blackheads, etc. just because I have had some minor breakout issues in the past. SInce using this stuff... no more breakouts.
I was using a generic version of this product for a long time and it was just NOT as good. The granules are much finer in the St. Ives brand and man does it feel good on the scalp.

I recently bought a pre shave soap from Somersets. Nice scent, but agree with others, any good soap will do the job. I rather spend my money on quality blades

Thanks guys. I did end up using Headwash. It states on the bottle that it's a pre-shave wash, s Ikm not sure if it's meant for post shave washing duties, but it seems to be working thus far.

I don't touch ordinary soap on my face - sensitive skin. I reccomend any pure glycerine soap for evey day use on the face. There are a myriad of brands, its mind boggling. Then a good exfoliator every second day.
