Hey guys! Iv been browsing the forums for awhile but finally decided to make an account. Iv been shaving my head since august due to anxiety about losing my hair and watching it slowly fall out day by day in my shower etc. I first started at a .5 and now im trimming it down to a 000. I find that my skin is very dry when im shaving it with the trimmer and that it flakes a lot. I bought my trimmer online for about 50 bucks and it really trims the hair down close. But after hours of browsing i decided that to pick up a ES-LA63-S. I found one online for 150. Im waiting for it in the mail should be here in a bout 2 weeks. I dont know if im going to go completely sly just yet i might wait around till summer. Anyways thats my story and im looking forward to hearing from everybody.

Welcome aboard oJ89. I think if you shave it totally sly, you can count on that "flaking" disappearing. You've gone this far, so go for it.

Welcome oj89, and I agree, shaving it all off will more than likely help your dryness and flaking condition. We have a few members' who have dealt with it the same way. A blade shave is the best way to go.
