Bald with glasses
« on: April 03, 2012, 03:44:24 AM »
I always thought that a pair of eye glasses, with circular shape, would combine great with my bald head.

Something like this (it's not me ^-^)

What do you guys think?

I find it very elegant, in a way.
Very "moody".

If you want some 'attitude' glasses, but don't need a prescription for vision correction, see www.zennioptical.com.  You can order optical quality glasses or sunglasses at a very reasonable price.

The only way you are going to see my face without a beard is if I have surgery and they have to shave it off, or if it fall out naturally.  I seriously doubt that I would voluntarily shave my beard.  It's just part of me.  I think that sly heads and beards were meant for each other.

By the way, fresh razor blades this morning.  Wow! is the head smooth! Love it.

Mr Zed

You are quite right: beards / goatees are perfect companions for the sky look. Now, I did think about goatee myself, too.

Glasses can be a good addition. Though, I have little choice. Can't even see myself properly in the mirror without my specs. Which is why I sometimes miss bits when face shaving !!

I have a really hard time finding frames I like because the ones that are currently in style are all rectangular and they just don't look right on me.  I got new frames a couple of weeks ago and could only find one pair in the entire store that I liked.  I hope the fashion swings back toward oval and circular frames by the time I need to get new ones again.

Try one of the online eyeglasses places. They have more choices than the local eye-doctor or Walmart.

I have to wear glasses - hate the thought of laser surgery  to 'cure' my eyesight problems - and like the bald head, full beard combination.  The glasses provide a good line where to make the transition from blad to beard.

The problem with that is you can't try them on and see how they look and feel before buying them.  Or have someone adjust them for you.

I didn't know Walmart sold eyeglasses, but i suppose I shouldn't be surprised since they sell pretty much everything else.
