Hey all, my name is George... I am 20 years old, and I have been seriously thinking about shaving my head.
Losing my hair has become very stressful during the past 3 weeks because it is when I have noticed that the top of my head is almost completely "white".
I am feeling a little bit depressed and have not been going to clubs, parties or anything like that for the past 2 months. I mean I used to be the guy with highest confidences in high school and my freshmen year at college, always around girls and being the "cool" type of guy... but lately I have been feeling as if going bald is taking away that "power" that I used to have of being the cool and popular guy, and I all I want to do lately is to stay home.
I have been following shybaldguys.com, since the beggining of 2011 when I started to notice the speed up in my hair loss, and since then I started to consider probably getting my head shaved.
I have been debating with myself and with friends about shaving my head, since I feel that the time has come, my best friends think that I should not ( they all have full head of hair). My mother thinks that I should start using Rogaine or Fortalex Pt.... My dermatologist wants to prescribe me Propecia.
And what do I think? Well, I honestly want to give it a try and shave my head.
HOWEVER, the problem is that I feel as if I dont have the right type of head in order to be bald.
Please, give me your honest opinion.
I dont look to happy with this situation as you can see in the pictures, But I honestly feel that in the front view won't look too bad.
However, from the profile view (either left or right) the story is different.
I dont know, now that I have less hair, and when I look at my head from a profile view I feel as if my head is like tilted foward? Or maybe do I look like I have a receding/weak chin? I dont know, this whole balding process is seriously taking me down
I'm either considering taking propecia, Rogaine or shaving it all off.
What do you guys think? please, give me your honest opinion.
I would really appreciate it!
