18yr old and beginning the 30 day trial

Well i shaved my head for the first time one week ago, after struggling WAY TOO LONG with my awful hair, which had started to take too much control over my life.. And after one week mark im feeling pretty natural with it... Just have to build up more confidence.. O0 As this is the look im naturally going towards.. ;D

Here's the pic as i couldn't upload it as my avatar, any recommendations to get rid of the scalp irritation and pimples caused by shaving? Thanks!

Welcome to the world of sly ! Keep up the good work.

I had razor bumps and irritation too, when I started shaving. From my own experience, you have to patient. It'll take 6 weeks of daily shaving before the scalp toughens, you get better skin tone and the razor bumps disappear. Stick with the look, it improves with every day.

Wow - looks great and is a definite keeper!  Your scalp will toughen up as you shave.  In the meantime, prep well - keep your scalp moist as you shave and use a mild astringent like witch hazel afterward to help calm things down.

It took about a week for me to get used to it too.  After 2 - 3 weeks, it's a new normal.
