I have noticed that on the back of my neck that I am getting a lot of red bumps after I shave. Is there a way to avoid this? Or will it just go away with time?

Put on some moisturizing cream and maybe a bit of anti-acne face cleanser (before the moisturizer, of course) and it will go away with time. The same thing happened to me when i first shaved my head, and it still does occasionally. If you shave against the grain, try shaving only with the grain on your neck. It seems to help a little.

On the back of my head/neck I shave with the grain first and then re-apply a small amount of shaving cream to then shave against the grain.  I started doing this when I was getting some bumps and it has worked so far.
