Bad head shape....as bad as I'm making it out to be?

Hey guys.  Lately my hair has been thinning a lot, the hairline is fading quickly and the crown is starting to go as well.  I've always felt I had a bad head shape, coupled with thinning hair I decided it was time to buzz it, at the very least to get a good idea of just how bad this head shape is.  I now regret buzzing my head as I found out the shape.  The depressing part is I have no real options as the hair continues to thin.  The back of my head is flat, and the right side of the top of my head dips down.  I imagine the pictures below would look even worse slick as it's just going to truly show the dips and dents.  The back of the head looks worse from a rear-angle.

The reality is not everyone looks good shaved.  I have myself convinced there's no way in hell it will work.  I'd rather have random people be the judge as close friends aren't going to give that brutal honesty.  So, with brutal honesty, how bad does it look?

Dude...... your head shape is fine. The bad news is that it's going to be painful getting that big tan oval spot removed.

Well, it's not a Charlie Brown, that's for sure--but then I've never seen any heads in real life like Charlie's--but like yours, yes.  Mikekoz13 is right though that spot is really going to hurt coming off, that's going to hurt like a mother.

I agree.  I'd worry more about the spot than your head shape!  What do people say about the oval spot?
