Have people noticed your beard more than your bald head?

I've gone sly for a month already, and it seems that I've received more comments/compliments on the beard than my bald head. Then again, I don't know if it has also been because I have let my beard grow a little longer during the past month.
Is it just me?

Likely the sly head focuses attention on the beard. Looks good.

I learned that when you have nice facial hair, it will normally complement your smooth dome. So let us all take advantage of having nice facial hair if we can grow it (not becoz we want to hide our baldness) and use it to match our head with confidence... Good day to you brods.

I've been full-time sly almost four years....but I never started growing a beard until late 2009 (when I was injured) and it was mostly chinstraps. This has been the thickest beard I've grown to date(shaved it off Friday for drill), a couple of my bowling friends complemented me on the beard, but they were already used to me being bald.

If my beard is short, people have not noticed my beard more than my bald head. But when I grew it out to the length that is in my avitar, then it has gotten notice. The longer the beard is, the more it will be noticed. Especially if you have a sly noggin!

Actually to some people who've gotten past my shaved head(been 1 year now), notice my beard if I do grow it out. I think as a Bald guy your head compliments your beard more than anything. Keep it grown, good look on you!

When I grew my goatee it got more comments than when I shaved my head. That may be because some people may be reluctant to comment on hair loss or baldness because they might be afraid of causing offense. Of course, there are plenty of other people who have no such reservations!

Think you are right !
Like you, getting more comments about the beard than when I went bald.
Beard is really growing on me. Both as a look and as as beard !

Definitely get more attention because of my beard. Several people call me 'Tombstone', or 'True Grit', yet I don't have any bald nicknames.

If people notice your beard first it's because it's pretty bad ass man. My only suggestion to somehow "blending" the two together would possibly to fade it in from the side burns rather than a very defined shave point.
