The Tweezerman is also sold under the Escali brand...both are decent low end badger brushes.  Boar bristles are the same as what is used in disposable "chip" paint brushes, they tend to get limp when wet etc.

While I love shaving my head (randomly), I just haven't graduated to the level of paying double-digit dollars on razors and brushes....Thinking back, on my last visit to my childhood barber, he did use a shaving brush (I had about 12 days of growth on my scalp due to work circumstances).
Even when the d is removed, the devil is still evil.

Scuttle?

A scuttle is a ceramic vessel that can best be described as resembling a double boiler.  Usually they are one piece with a spout for filling the lower part with hot water, which heats the upper bowl and helps to keep the lathered brush warm.
I have had a couple of them and they really can do a great job, especially if you like warm lather and shave your face in multiple passes.
The downside is that too much heat tend to break down the lather and you are left with something akin to bubble bath foam.  You just need to get the temperature just right and/or not leave the brush in the scuttle for too long.

This, of course, adds more time to your shave also.  That's another reason why I shave at night.
