I sincerely hope ladies are welcome here.

First of all, congratulations to all of you on your fabulous 'dos!

I am the significant other of a balding fellow who has yet to embrace the SLY guy within. I'm hoping to poke around and pick up some pointers and most importantly some words of encouragement.

The internet needs more awesomely encouraging places like this one!  :@`

Edited to add: I've found the Women's Corner and it's pretty nifty.

Welcome!  So you're trying to entice your guy to go sly?  If you're supportive, that's a huge help.  Many guys worry about the reaction they'll get from the women in their lives. 

We'll be glad to encourage him to take the "big" step - look around and you and he will find all the advice and counsel you need.  The "wow" factor of experiencing a smoothly shaved head is not to be missed!

I agree with everything the guys are saying, having our women here as support and also showing pride in our Slyness helps our confidence and just strengthens the idea of family here

As I said in another thread, well, it's simple.
Being sly looks better than having few hair here and there. Conversely, if one is not balding can try the slyness and grow his hair back if he will not be happy with the look.
