Shaving Head Envy

I have a friend of mine who seems to be able to just buzz or shave his hair without a care in the world. We both have full heads of hair but Im envious of his ability to just shave his own head, because as he says, it's just fun. I've wanted to shave mine for awhile but just can't seem to do it for whatever reason. I don't know, what do you guys think. Am I just over thinking it? Should I just do what he does?

You should try it. That's the benefit of being a guy. You can just shave or buzz your hair without a care and it's no big deal.

Im really tempted to try it because it's something I've just wanted to do BUT I just can't seem to get over the hurdle. I have a feeling I'll take a swipe with the clippers across my head and regret it.

I did. I shaved my head. And I like the results. You can always grow it back.

Have your barber do it for you. Once your head is bald, you'll experience the thrill that so many guys on this site talk about.

A shaved head is a very liberating feeling.

Sure you can do it! It'll be one of many challenges that you conquered in your life...get a barber to do it, or "friend of mine", but the big kick will be if you cut it off. If you don't like it grow it back in a couple weeks. Good luck.

Do it. If you don't you will always wonder. I had the same obsession until I finally told my barber to shave it all off and I haven't looked back.

I have to agree that there is only one way to find out if you'll like it and that is to shave it off.

What caused you to decide to go bald by choice?

Well I loved the look. I have really thick indian hair aswell. Its wavy and curly and one day my friend dared me to shave it slick so I did and fell in love. Now I have receding hairline just barely, I guess its called widow peak. But I love the smooth feel and its just been more convienent over the last year.
