imaginary introduction
« on: January 30, 2012, 10:26:58 AM »
Greetings. I am from the city that doesn't sleep. I was referred here by a member of the beard board. The concept of shaving my head has come and by many times--I even attempted it once over seven years ago--but recently, the desire came to fruition. So far, it has been a week, and I love it!

Once upon a time. The End.

Thanks for the comments guys. Surprisingly, the journey was not as simple. I don't know if I can be complicated sometimes. I'm someone who feels he must be a bit distinctive in everything he does. If I can talk religion for a moment, I go to a church where a lot of guys shave their heads. I guess we refuse to do the whole preacher combover hairstyle that was so popular. For me to join them,  or anyone else, I felt I had to feel like myself. And I can honestly say that I do.

Welcome, Imaginary. I'm in there with you. Just shaved my head a little over a week ago.  I really like it. Someone yesterday said that it makes me look younger!

Thanks for the intros guys.

As for things in the big city, New York is New York. Although there is something always happening, I feel the biggest thing for me is my job. I work fashion retail, and renovations have begun not only for my department, but for the entire store. Details have made the news. The other big thing is the weather. This is probably my first winter experiencing near sixty degree temperature.
Once upon a time. The End.
