So the boss comes into the office today, looks at me and says "When are you going to grow your hair back?"
I Said "I dont know" and she said "Can we vote on it?" I responded with an emphatic "NO"
Need to metion that my boss is not one of my favorite people at the moment even before this comment.
RUDE!

Your boss may have been joking in a tactless way.
If she wasn't joking, unless your workplace has specific rules about hair (which I doubt), your boss is creating what's known as a hostile work environment. Think of it this way: it would be unconscionable for a boss (male or female) to approach a woman and ask when she was going to change her hairstyle / color, then suggest even jokingly that it be put up for a vote. Your choice to be bald is just that - your choice. She may not like it, but she's on thin ice saying what she said.

Ask her if she has a problem with your choice of hairstyle........But I doubt you'll get an honest answer.

I agree with npsbg -- it's none of her business and inappropriate to comment.
Ask her if she has a problem with your choice of hairstyle...
Actually, that's not a good suggestion. By opening the conversation, it's inviting her into the topic. Best to just not go there.
Unless there's some Draconian workplace dress code policy being violated, this is nothing that she should have any interest at all in.

We are a very small office - only 5 of us.
I thought it was appropriate!
Oh and this is after she reduced my pay and cut my hours last week (as a cost saving measure)

Photo looks good from today. What kind of a necktie knot is that? The know I use is a double windsor and it's more symetrical and plump. This looks one-sided and less formal.

I dont know what its called its the one I learned when I was a kid. Isnt all big and bulky like a windsor knot. I dont cinch my ties up at work because I technically dont have to wear a tie I wear it for me

Heh... same here. I'll wear a tie now and again even though the only rule regarding clothing is "wear some".
Keeps 'em guessing.

And you look sharp!

It seems like you are at the mercy of the boss...no work rules and no union. Guess you should lay low and document these unfair situations to prepare yourself to go to the EEOC. Just a thought.

if your job depends on it, idk...
but if you're not in direct contact with people, it means that's only the one that doesn't have the guts to shave and he's just jealous
