My name's Matt. I just shaved my head for the first time today, and I decided to try to find a community with intelligent, head-shaving people. This is where I chose to stop. I hope to hear a lot of informed opinions from a variety of bald members. I am interested in learning about what types of clothing look best on a bald guy. I'm not the best at picking out clothes, so I am definitely interested in suggestions.

I love sports of all kinds. I've played just about every team sport imaginable over the course of my life. I'm also an avid reader, and I am a freelance writer. I'm majoring in English at Penn State University, and I plan to teach English at a private school upon graduation.

I am able to hold an intelligent conversation on a wide variety of subjects, including sports, literature, writing, politics, economics, music, and philosophy. I have a very open mind, and I'm always looking to learn. I am currently studying Spanish in college, and I hope to reach full fluency within 3 years.

I was inspired to shave my head, because I have already lost a lot of my hair. I thought that there may be a chance that I look better with a clean-shaven head, and so far, I like the results.

Hy there! :}

If you want clothing tips, then please tell a few words about your favourite colours & styles (sporty? old-school? conventional? military? other?), there is a topic about this question here:
http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=15562.30

But in my not-so-humble opinion, a bald guy always has better chances to look cool and elegant, no matter what he wears.

Looking and willing to learn is good. This is what I do, too.

Well, you found the right place.  SBG is a community of guys who support the bald look whether BBN (bald by nature) or BBC (bald by choice, like me).

Either way, this is one of the nicest and clean men's sites on the internet.

Welcome, Matt. Good to have you along.  I've been here about 7 months and I make it a point to check the RSS feed several times a day.

I like plain-colored clothing and also sporty clothing. I think I'm going to have to take the advice of giving it 30 days to see how different clothing looks in contrast with my shaved head before I go out and buy new clothing.

Matt, welcome to SBG!!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Welcome to the Forum, Matt!

As far as clothing goes..... I'm a Harley guy so you may want to get other opinions!!! Black jeans and , usually, black or grey shirts for me.
